ABOUT THE COLORADO TANDEM CLUB

The Colorado Tandem Club is a social organization dedicated to the promotion of safe, courteous and fun tandem bicycle riding. Club members enjoy getting together with other tandem riders, sharing fun times and chatting about the sport.

CLUB RESOURCES

  1. Organized Club Rides, Social Events and weekend get-aways throughout the year, hosted by members.  You can find these on the Events page and in the newsletter.  Click on the event for the full details.  You can also copy to your calendar. Scroll down on the events page and read about hosting a ride.  There you will learn how you can host a ride, but you will also see what hosted club rides are all about.  Pro-tips – Come about half an hour early for bike set up and pre-ride socializing.  There is almost always a post ride meal at a local restaurant. Helmets Required!

  2. Merchandise You can get license plates or replacement name badges here. We make club jerseys and other wearable good available from time to time.  These are custom orders, so they happen a few times a year.  Watch the newsletter to know when the store opens.

  3. Members only directory By registering and building your profile you will gain access to look up other members and participate in the forum page.  We have created some short video's to walk you through some basics on the site - even if you already joined to ensure you are set up correctly! Please take a few minutes to watch them and hopefully you will then be masters of Profile, My Profile and Forums!

  4. Monthly Newsletter about upcoming rides, tandem information and items for sale.

  5. Facebook This Facebook group is for Colorado Tandem Club members to share ride experiences and photos; meet other Colorado tandem teams; ask and answer questions about riding, routes, events, experiences, and technical issues; for new teams to experienced teams.

  6. Strava Once you join the CTC "group", everything you post on your personal Starva page gets posted on the CTC page along with any other groups that you belong to.   We have many more members of the Strava CTC page than members of the club.  Tandem enthusiasts from around the world are in the CTC group.
